We collect only what we need to run your audit and take payment, and we don't sell your data. To do the search, your brand details are shared with our independent, licensed PRC attorney partners. The audit is $129 with a two-way money-back / credit guarantee. We give you an honest register snapshot and a recommendation — not a guarantee of any legal outcome — and CopycatHunter itself is not a law firm.
This policy explains what CopycatHunter (“we,” “us”), operated by Keystone Strategic LLC, collects, why, and your choices. Questions: hzhang835@gmail.com.
Like most websites, we (and our providers) may collect basic technical data — IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, and referring links — through server logs and cookies. We use Google Tag Manager to load analytics and advertising tags — currently Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel — which set cookies and collect usage, traffic, and conversion data so we can understand site performance and measure our advertising. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address to deliver the font files.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with parties that help us deliver the service:
We operate across borders. In particular, to perform your audit, the brand information you submit is transferred to and processed by our attorney partners in China, and payment data is processed by Stripe in its operating regions. By submitting your details you understand and agree to these transfers. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
We keep your information for as long as needed to deliver the audit, support any follow-on work you ask for, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations — then we delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see your rights below).
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the EEA/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), those laws give you specific rights, including — for California residents — the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them; we do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the CCPA sense. To exercise any right, email hzhang835@gmail.com and we’ll respond within the timeframe the law requires.
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to function, and analytics/advertising cookies to understand traffic and measure ad performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some may affect how the site works.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security — but we treat the brand details you share as confidential and limit access to those who need it to deliver your audit.
The site and service are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
We may update this policy. We’ll change the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be made prominent.

These terms govern your use of the CopycatHunter website and the China Trademark Exposure Audit (the “Service”), provided by Keystone Strategic LLC. By using the site or buying the Service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
CopycatHunter provides trademark-register research and a risk assessment: we search China’s CNIPA register for your brand and tell you your customs-block risk and a recommended next move. CopycatHunter is not a law firm, and the Service is information, not legal advice. The legal analysis in your report is reviewed by independent, licensed PRC attorneys, and any actual legal work (such as a filing, opposition, or cancellation) is provided by those attorneys under a separate engagement. Using the site or buying an audit does not create an attorney–client relationship with CopycatHunter.
For a one-time fee of US$129, we deliver your audit within 48 hours of receiving your completed intake details. The quality and accuracy of your audit depend on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. The audit reflects the CNIPA register as of the date we run it.
The Service carries a two-way guarantee:
The refund and the credit are alternatives, not both for the same payment. Refund requests are made by replying to your report or emailing us.
Because China operates a first-to-file system and register data changes over time, the audit is a snapshot and a professional assessment — not a guarantee of registrability, of future register status, or of the outcome of any opposition, cancellation, negotiation, customs matter, or other dispute. Anyone who promises a guaranteed legal win is misleading you.
Payments are processed by Stripe in US dollars. You’re responsible for any taxes that apply to you. By paying, you authorize the charge and confirm the payment method is yours.
You agree to provide accurate information, and you represent that you have the right to submit the brand names, marks, logos, and other materials you send us, and that doing so doesn’t violate anyone else’s rights.
We treat your submission as confidential and share it only as described in the Privacy Policy — primarily with the licensed attorneys who perform your audit.
The site, its content, and the CopycatHunter name and marks are owned by us. Your audit report is provided for your own business use.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keystone Strategic LLC and its partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The site relies on third parties (such as Stripe and form/hosting providers). Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we’re not responsible for them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and disputes will be handled in the courts located there, except where the law gives you a non-waivable right to your local courts.
We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
